We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Fence Specialist. As a sales-focused specialist, your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell our high-quality fence products to residential and commercial customers. This position offers a commission-only structure.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Generation:

    Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities by generating leads, conducting market research, and building relationships with potential customers. 2

  • Consultative Selling:

    Meet with customers to understand their specific needs, assess their outdoor space, and recommend appropriate fence solutions. 3

  • Product Knowledge:

    Develop a deep understanding of our fence products, their features, benefits, and installation processes to effectively communicate their value proposition to customers. 4

  • Proposal Preparation:

    Prepare detailed and accurate project proposals, including cost estimates, material specifications, and design recommendations, tailored to individual customer requirements. 5

  • Relationship Building:

    Cultivate strong relationships with customers through effective communication, responsiveness, and exceptional customer service to drive customer loyalty and repeat business. 6

  • Collaboration:

    Collaborate with our design and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction. 7

  • Industry Expertise:

    Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product advancements, and competitors’ offerings to provide informed recommendations to customers and maintain a competitive edge. 8

  • Sales Reporting:

    Maintain accurate sales records, including prospecting activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline. 9

  • Sales Target Achievement:

    Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to the overall sales team’s success. 10

Qualifications:

  • Previous Sales Experience:

    Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the construction, home improvement, or outdoor living industry. 2

  • Product Knowledge:

    Familiarity with fence materials, installation techniques, and outdoor construction processes. 3

  • Excellent Communication Skills:

    Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present and negotiate with customers. 4
