Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team in Merritt Island. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth for our MEP/FP engineering services. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and networking skills, and a passion for building lasting client partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
Identify and research potential clients and project opportunities through various channels, including networking, cold calling, industry events, and online platforms. Qualify leads and develop targeted strategies to engage potential clients.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, developers, federal clients, and other key stakeholders. Conduct regular client meetings and presentations to promote our MEP/FP engineering services. Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction.
Business Development Strategy:
Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve revenue targets. Collaborate with the board members to understand service offerings and tailor solutions to meet client needs. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. Prepare and present proposals and presentations to potential clients.
Networking and Industry Engagement:
Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and build relationships. Represent the company at professional organizations and associations. Stay informed about industry developments and best practices.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growth. Understanding of MEP/FP engineering principles and practices. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational and time management skills. Valid driver’s license.
