Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to join our team. This critical role supports the sales and procurement process by coordinating with vendors and distributors to develop accurate and competitive quotes in response to customer Requests for Quotation (RFQs). The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically curious, and thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with vendors, distributors, and internal sales staff to source pricing, availability, and product specifications. Prepare and submit accurate quotes in response to RFQs and bid opportunities, ensuring compliance with client and vendor requirements. Manage quote revisions and updates based on customer feedback or vendor changes. Track and follow up on open quotes and pending vendor responses to ensure timely submissions. Assist with vendor registration, certification, and partner program requirements. Maintain and update internal quote records, price lists, and vendor contact information. Coordinate with the procurement and finance teams for order processing once quotes are approved. Support the sales team with product research, configuration guidance, and documentation as needed. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a sales support, quoting, or procurement coordination role—preferably in a VAR, MSP, or technology reseller environment. Familiarity with technology hardware, software, or licensing from vendors such as Dell, HPE, HP Inc , , Microsoft, Red Hat etc. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interface with vendors and customers professionally. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and quoting tools; experience with QuoteWerks, Salesforce, or similar is a plus. High attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple RFQs simultaneously under tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with major distributors (e.g., Ingram Micro, TD Synnex, D&H, Carahsoft, Pax8). Familiarity with government or education contract quoting (e.g., GSA, NASPO, or cooperative purchasing agreements). Basic understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networking, cloud solutions).
