The Franchise Sales Executive is responsible for maximizing the utilization of Coastal Waste & Recycling services within a designated franchise territory. This role involves proactively solving challenges for business owners and contractors, fostering strong relationships with city officials, code enforcement, and property managers, and strategically converting competitors’ customers to Coastal’s services. The Franchise Sales Executive also identifies opportunities to cross-sell recycling and portable toilet services, ensuring comprehensive waste management solutions throughout the franchise area. Develop and manage a successful sales pipeline within assigned territory. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted prospecting and strategic lead generation efforts. Deliver compelling presentations and service demonstrations to potential customers, highlighting value propositions and key benefits. Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive satisfaction, retention, and referral opportunities. Negotiate competitive pricing and contract terms to close new business and renew existing accounts effectively. Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor strategies, and market conditions to support informed and strategic selling. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional client support. Maintain detailed and accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM tools like Salesforce. Establish and maintain strategic relationships with Code Enforcement officials to ensure compliance and strengthen industry connections. Develop a comprehensive understanding of all service lines within Coastal Waste & Recycling, staying informed on industry trends and best practices. Conduct daily site visits to proactively address service concerns, oversee equipment maintenance, and update site contact information for seamless operations.

What We’re Looking For:

1-3 years of experience in outside sales, preferably in the waste management or a related industry. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. A strategic mindset with the ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions and drive sales success. Proficiency in CRM software (preferably Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel regularly within the designated territory to meet with clients and prospects.
