Position Overview:
As a Merchant Account Specialist, you will be responsible for cold calling, prospecting, and acquiring new clients. You will educate prospects about our products and services while providing tailored solutions to meet their business needs. This is an outside sales role where relationship building and a consultative approach are key to success. Responsibilities:
Cold calling, phone, and social media prospecting for potential sales leads – with flexibility to sell referral-based deals. Canvass local businesses to identify and close new prospects, referral partners, chambers of commerce, lead groups, trade shows, and value-added resellers. Schedule meetings and presentations with business owners and decision-makers. Understand and assess clients’ pain points to propose relevant merchant solutions that build partnerships with long-term benefits and success. Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and track all activities in the company CRM and all reporting mechanisms. Achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue generation goals. Coordinate with all Merchant Industry’s support departments to ensure excellent customer service and flawless execution for all of our customers.
Qualifications:
Proven track record in outside sales, including prospecting (door-to-door/canvassing). B2B sales experience. Bilingual Spanish speaking skills highly preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoom, social media, and Google Suite. Experience with CRM systems. Professional, clean, and presentable appearance.
Compensation and Benefits:
$50,000 annual base salary + uncapped residual commissions. World-class sales, product, and compliance training. Monthly ongoing residual commissions for merchants actively processing.
