In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist with sales, stock management, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system and cash register. Handle cash transactions responsibly and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking shelves and managing inventory. Assist with visual merchandising to create an appealing shopping environment. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work atmosphere. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through strategic prospecting, leveraging some cold calls, emails and networking to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Strong basic math skills, including retail math, to manage transactions effectively. Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately. Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service. Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
