• We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as a Junior Sales Freight Broker. As a key player in our logistics and transportation department, the successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and carriers, negotiating freight rates, and ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods.

• Responsibilities:

• Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

• Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their shipping needs and preferences.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries and concerns promptly. 2.

• Carrier Management:

• Source and onboard reliable carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation solutions.
• Negotiate freight rates and terms with carriers to maximize profitability and service quality.
• Track carrier performance and resolve any issues that may arise during shipments. 3.

• Logistics Coordination:

• Coordinate the movement of freight from origin to destination, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics processes and resolve any operational challenges. 4.

• Market Research and Analysis:

• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
• Analyze market data to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement. 5.

• Documentation and Compliance:

• Prepare and manage shipping documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance requirements.

• Qualifications:

• Must have 1+ years of experience in logistics sales.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Basic knowledge of transportation and logistics industry practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
