In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and selling our full range of lake and pond management services to residential and commercial clients across NE Florida. You will serve as the face of our company—conducting site evaluations, creating customized solutions, and building long-lasting client relationships. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a passion for environmental services, and the ability to meet sales targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This is a field-based role that requires initiative, organization, and a consultative approach to selling. Duties Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories, including residential and commercial clients. Promote and sell lake and pond management services such as aquatic weed control, water quality testing, algae treatments, and fountain and aeration systems. Conduct on-site evaluations and consultations to assess customer needs and provide customized service solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and site visits. Prepare and deliver sales proposals, presentations, and service agreements. Collaborate with team to ensure client satisfaction and successful project implementation. Stay informed on industry trends, environmental regulations, and competitor offerings. Qualifications Sales & Customer Service Skills Proven ability to generate leads and close sales Strong customer service mindset and relationship-building skills Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills Confidence in presenting services and solutions to clients Negotiation and persuasive selling skills Technical & Industry-Specific Skills Strong understanding of aquatic ecosystems, environmental services, or willingness to learn Ability to assess client needs and recommend appropriate service solutions Experience working with or around lake, pond, or water management Comfort reading maps, property layouts, or basic technical data (like water test results) Organizational & Analytical Skills Strong time management and self-motivation, especially in field-based roles Ability to manage multiple accounts and follow up on leads and proposals Basic proficiency in CRM systems, spreadsheets, or mobile apps for reporting Other Important Attributes Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally Professional, positive attitude with a growth mindset Willingness to work outdoors occasionally for site visits
