Responsibilities Client Consultation:
Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide personalized recommendations
Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Sales Generation:
Achieve and exceed sales targets by proactively working our existing leads while leveraging existing relationships
Product Knowledge:
Stay up to date on the latest insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory changes to effectively communicate value propositions to clients
Relationship Building:
Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, earning their trust and confidence as their go-to insurance advisor
Documentation:
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, policy details, and other relevant information
Implement sales strategies and tactics proven effective in maintaining and growing existing customer portfolios comprised of loyal, long-term clients
Continue your education on evolving insurance industry protocols to adequately fulfill all policy requirements and monitor insurance claims to customers’ satisfaction
Listen attentively to new and potential clients, evaluate their needs and their financial statuses, and propose ideal plan options for their unique circumstances and insurance needs
Create tailored risk management strategies directly with clients that align with their risk profiles
Ensure bookkeeping systems, sales databases, and customer records are maintained to report progress toward monthly initiatives to stakeholders
Minimum Required Qualifications:
A Florida 2-20 or 4-40 active insurance license
- required at time of application
High school diploma
Must be 18 years of age
Ability to use Microsoft Office
Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, customer service skills, and analytical skills are required
Proven understanding of the insurance industry including insurance products, risk management and any state and federal regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience with independent Florida carriers
Compensation Details:
Starting base pay: $18
- 25 per hour. (Base pay is determined by level of experience and certifications.)
Average 1st year total earnings range from $55K - 70K through a combination of base pay and commission.
