Position Summary:

We’re looking for a motivated and personable Business Development Specialist to grow our presence in Polk, Hillsborough, and surrounding counties. This remote, full-time role focuses on building strong relationships with local real estate agents through outreach, office visits, presentations, events, and social media engagement. While not required, living in Polk or Hillsborough County is ideal for easier access to the territory.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents to drive referrals Conduct cold calls, office visits, and deliver presentations Attend Realtor events, networking functions, and industry meetups (some may occur evenings/weekends) Engage agents on social media platforms Drop off marketing materials, welcome kits, and agent gifts Track interactions and manage contacts using Active Campaign (CRM) Collaborate with CFBI’s Growth Team and attend team meetings/events in Orlando as needed Receive team support for in-territory events to ensure success and collaboration Assist in campaign planning, content creation, and reporting

Qualifications:

Strong people skills – engaging, confident, and great at managing relationships Comfortable with direct communication and problem-solving when needed Organized, proactive, and able to manage time independently Tech-savvy with experience using Google Drive, email, CRM systems, and social media Experience with Spectora and/or home inspection or real estate industries a plus Sales, business development, or marketing background preferred Must be located in Central Florida and willing to travel for team functions
