Job Description

Territory Sales Rep Sales Solutions Inc Tampa, FL As a Territory Sales Rep, you will be developing new business by identifying and qualifying potential and existing accounts in the industrial, construction, DOT, and utility/utility-subcontractor markets. Must be willing to call on users with a pull-thru sales approach to existing and new distribution channels. This is a salary + commission bonus position with complete management and training support to help you rapidly ramp up to full production. Candidates should expect extensive product knowledge training. As a key member of the SSI team, you will be selling with the strength and advantage of a company and brand that customers trust and recognize.

Skills and Competencies:
  • The ability to engage users and distribution on daily basis
  • Call on and work with distributors of Safety products, construction and contractor supply, industrial supply and traffic/work zone safety supply in the Florida market.
  • Call on construction companies, contractors, city and state agencies, utilities, DOTs, municipalities, industrial and manufacturing facilities to specify the use of our manufacturer’s products and pull the sales through distributors.
  • Effectively manage daily schedule of new visits, appointments, and overall territory management
  • The ability to meet monthly sales quotas
  • Strong ability to network.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of field sales experience
  • Experience using consultative sales techniques to successfully close the sale
  • Experience in making a high volume of outside sales calls
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of personal integrity and professionalism
