Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and creative Design Associate / Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. This role combines design expertise with retail sales, allowing you to directly impact our customers’ experience and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience with SketchUp, a passion for outdoor living, and a strong customer service orientation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their outdoor kitchen needs and preferences.
• Create detailed design concepts using SketchUp to visualize outdoor kitchen projects.
• Prepare accurate retail sales quotes and proposals based on customer specifications.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial consultation to project completion.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of our product offerings and industry trends.
• Assist in the management of the outdoor showroom, ensuring it is inviting and well-presented.
• Follow up with potential clients to nurture leads and close sales.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in SketchUp or similar design software.
• Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a design or home improvement environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for outdoor living and design is a plus.
