Job Description We are seeking a motivated Freight Brokerage Sales Representative to join our team in Bradenton, FL. This role starts with in-office training for at least 30 days to learn our system, receive personalized coaching, and build a foundation for success. After training, the role transitions to a flexible mix of in-office, field, and offsite work, focusing on building and maintaining relationships with clients and carriers to secure freight deals. You’ll generate your own leads through cold calling and emailing, leveraging your skills to grow a robust book of business. This position is ideal for self-starters with a passion for sales, a knack for relationship-building, and a drive to succeed. With personalized 1:1 coaching and a competitive commission structure (50/50 for reps with no experience, up to 60/40 for experienced reps), your success is in your hands.

Key Responsibilities Prospect :

Generate and close new business through self-sourced leads via cold calls, emails, and, post-training, in-person meetings.

Build :

Maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers to secure consistent freight opportunities.

Negotiate :

Secure rates and terms for mutually beneficial agreements.

Collaborate :

Work with operations and dispatch teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Stay Informed :

Keep up with market trends and industry developments to identify new opportunities.

Qualifications Experience :

Sales experience preferred, ideally in logistics, transportation, or freight brokerage (2+ years for 60/40 split consideration; not required for 50/50 split).

Self-Starter :

Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Integrity :

Commitment to ethical business practices and building trust with clients and carriers.

Communicator :

Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with strong negotiation abilities.

Relationship-Building :

Proven ability to foster long-term partnerships.

Resilience :

Adaptable, comfortable handling rejection, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field preferred but not required. In-Office for

Training :

Must work in-office in Bradenton, FL, for at least 30 days during training; flexibility for in-office, field, and offsite work post-training.

Compensation & Benefits Training Pay :

$800/week for up to 2 months (minimum 30 days) to support onboarding and training. Reps may opt to transition to commission early if confident. Paid weekly; no commission earned during training.

Commission :

Post-training, transition to a 50/50 commission split (you earn 50%) for reps with no experience, or up to 60/40 (you earn 60%) for experienced reps, with uncapped earning potential. Paid weekly.

Lead Generation :

Reps generate their own leads via cold calling and emailing; platform provided for tracking leads and customers. Reps cover expenses outside of the provided platform (e.g., travel for field meetings).

Coaching :

Personalized 1:1 coaching to build skills and knowledge for success.
