POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Coordinator will provide sales coordination, administrative support and supervision of inside sales reps for the Sales department at Teakdecking Systems, Inc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Sales Leads Respond to all incoming deck and wood sales calls Take all leads for southwest Florida and assist with other areas as needed Assigning team sales leads and opportunities, follow-up on follow-through Assist with overflow leads/quotes from other Sales reps as needed Update sales leads & opportunities in the system Primary point of contact for Navicork/Cork leads Quotes Measure/photo decks (local) as needed Create Cost Benefit Worksheet Create quote worksheets Send out Budgetary quotes Send out Formal quotes on new production models as needed Sales Orders Process Sales Orders, create master files and obtain deposits for sold jobs Coordinate with engineering and clients to scan sold jobs or to receive templates Obtain deposits for sold jobs Proof Sales Order’s and work orders/sign off before they are submitted to Production Turn-over sold jobs to Project Managers Produce and distribute weekly Sales Metrics report Update Sales Activity report Follow-up on past due accounts Attend boat shows upon request Orders in Progress Survey boats as needed – local and southwest Florida Coordinate with installation manager/owner/ Project Managers on deck removals and installations Deck signoffs as needed/requested Assist team with sales tasks General Administrative Administrative Support Provide support to Sales Manager as requested/needed Maintain departmental expense report log Process Fort Lauderdale Installer expense reports Quarterly shirt distribution to installer and monthly new teammates awards Process shirt and hat requests Maintain photo files of deck projects and company initiatives Create bi-weekly slide show and update the team’s TV in the shop Conduct plant tours as requested/needed Vehicles fleet management Truck maintenance coordination Truck sign-in/out through calendar Coordinate approved driving list with Human Resources Certificates of Insurance Distribute renewal certificates for fleet trucks Request certificates to support the installation and digitizing teams at boat yards and with vendors Marketing Manage literature on hand; inventory and order for boat shows, sales trips and company mailings Manage samples on hand and for boat shows and sales trips Send out samples as needed/requested Other duties as assigned from the smooth operation of the organization

SUPERVISORY DUTIES

Supervises (2) inside sales reps Keep department calendar for workload, project, deadlines, etc. on target Manage TEAMS meeting in the absence of the Sales Manager Lead, facilitate and record sales team calls in the Sales Manager’s absence Assist team to remain on task for special project requests Assist Sales Manager with performance review Approve PTO requests and keep department calendar Make recommendations to the Sales Manager on personnel decisions

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

College degree preferred, high school diploma required 5 years in the marine industry preferred 5 years in a supervisory role Microsoft Office at an advanced level required; Word, Excel, PPT Must be very well organized Great customer service and administrative skills Experience in team building This is an in-person role located by the Sarasota Airport.
