Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Commercial Truck Sales Representative to join our dealership team. This role is responsible for building relationships with customers, understanding their business and vehicle needs, and providing tailored solutions from our inventory of commercial trucks. The ideal candidate is results-driven, knowledgeable about the trucking industry, and committed to delivering a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with walk-in, phone, and online leads to identify truck needs and provide professional product recommendations. Maintain deep knowledge of available inventory, including specs, pricing, financing, and industry applications. Coordinate with the Inventory Clerk to ensure sold units are promptly marked and removed from active listings. Prepare and present pricing, financing, trade-in, and warranty options clearly and transparently. Guide customers through the entire sales process, from inquiry to closing the deal and post-sale follow-up. Build and maintain long-term relationships with commercial clients, fleet managers, and business owners. Stay informed on industry trends, market pricing, and competitive offerings. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the dealership. Accurately document customer interactions and vehicle transactions in the dealership CRM. Participate in dealership events, promotional campaigns, and truck shows as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven sales experience, preferably in commercial vehicles, fleet sales, or a related field. Knowledge of trucks, trailers, vehicle specs, and common industry uses is a strong advantage. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Professional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in CRM systems and dealership software (or willingness to learn). Valid driver’s license and employment authorization
