Sales Representative – Asset-Based Truckload Carrier We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our clients growing team. This role is ideal for individuals with experience working with an asset-based carrier, specializing in full truckload operations and cross-border logistics with Mexico . The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish , has a strong knowledge of the trucking industry, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Business Development to understand industry needs. Identify and research potential customers in the Texas and Mexico markets . Communicate effectively with current and prospective clients across Mexico, the Midwest U.S., and Canada. Cold call clients, follow up on leads , and build long-term business relationships. Assist with customer bids, marketing materials, RFPs, and RFQs . Travel up to 25% , primarily within the Texas and Mexico regions . Support additional requests related to the Sales Department .
Qualifications & Skills:
3+ years of sales experience within the trucking and transportation industry . Prior experience working with USMCA trade regulations (formerly NAFTA) . Strong knowledge of just-in-time (JIT) freight operations . Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills . Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel . Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary of $100K-$125K annually . Commission structure based on generating $1.5M in new business per quarter . Quarterly bonus of $2K , with an annual bonus potential exceeding $10K-$30K based on performance. Additional compensation for exceeding sales quotas . Flexible schedule (40-hour work week, Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM). Why Join Us?
