Job Overview EMT require Business Development Specialist to further grow the EMT business within our network of clients and distributor channels in the USA. The role will suit a passionate individual keen to grow their sales career. This individual will play a pivotal role in nurturing new sales leads and providing exceptional customer service to existing accounts, expanding our client base and fostering strategic partnerships. You must be confident in researching and contacting new and existing clients to promote products, present commercial documents and arrange formal meetings. Primarily targeted with making contact and creating relationships with end users, the successful candidate will look to increase EMT brand & product awareness and influence specification choices of equipment to drive sales of equipment either through channel partners or direct B2B contacts. The successful candidate will take responsibility for initial contact from a wide range of incoming lead sources (web, email, marketing, existing contacts) transitioning them through the initial sales process and where applicable handing over to the US Sale Manager for field demonstrations. In addition, the candidate will provide day-to-day administration support processes within the office such as quotation generation, client updates and paperwork submittal and order processing. Liaising with teams in our UK Head Office and Netherlands manufacturing facility the applicant will be booking in equipment for service, shipping equipment and preparing demonstration equipment. Full training will be provided in both the product portfolio as well as the market; however prior experience in B2B Sales and/or instrumentation/equipment sales is beneficial. Principle Responsibilities & Duties Research and investigate market and potential client information to enable initial contact and marketing campaigns Initiate contact and develop brand/product awareness, create sales proposals and book remote or face to face meetings/demonstrations with prospective clients Assist or perform product demonstrations/evaluations to end user or potential clients. Create and maintain accounts, identify key contacts and contribute to the EMT business plans. Arrange and participate in meetings, conferences, and seminar activities as and when required. Build customer loyalty through excellent technical service and support Create and maintain accounts, identify key contacts and contribute to the EMT business plans. Creation of proposals and bids for clients, follow them through to Purchase Order and close of business. Maintain and update company CRM system (Zoho) and operating systems (Sage50, Monday.com) The Person & Qualifications Critical Skills and Requirements Batchelors or Masters degree in STEM subjects (ideally Scientific, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Electrical disciplines) An outstanding individual who is driven and ambitious with a strong work ethic and “Can Do” attitude. An outgoing, charismatic personality with strong communication skills, who thrives in a fast-paced team environment. High level of attention to detail and accuracy with a well organised, self-motivated outlook. Previous experience of sales or commercial development ideally in a technical product / solutions-based industry would be advantageous. Computer & MS Office literate with competent experience in Word, Excel, Outlook, & PowerPoint specifically. Ability to travel domestically and internationally if required for client site visits or exhibitions. Driving License.
