Donate This Recycle That is part of a family-operated business that has grown over the past 40+ years into a leader in the secondhand clothing industry. We assist charities with collecting donations of used clothing, shoes and household goods. The charities then sell these goods to thrift stores to generate revenue that supports their worthy missions. This model provides charities with reliable revenue while helping us divert millions of pounds of reusable items from local landfills. Position Summary We’re looking for a personable and action-oriented professional to help expand our presence across Central Florida by identifying new sites for clothing collection bins and building strong relationships with landlords and property managers. In this field-based role, you’ll spend most of your time out in the community, driving through designated areas to find and secure high-traffic and high-visibility locations—such as shopping centers, grocery stores, etc. Your focus will be securing long-term site leases for placements from property managers, and maintaining positive, ongoing relationships with site hosts. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, thrives on hitting targets, and wants to grow their career while making an environmental and social impact. What You’ll Do Identify and secure new collection bin placement sites by conducting regular visits to businesses, civic organizations, shopping centers, and multi-family communities, including upscale apartment complexes. Conduct daily sales visits to prospective site hosts such as businesses, organizations, and municipalities to build strong, ongoing relationships. Maintain positive relationships with property owners and site hosts by providing ongoing support and following up promptly to resolve any issues that arise. Source clothing and household item collections from consignment shops, estate sale companies, and other entities with surplus inventory. Cold call and follow up with businesses and organizations to generate leads and secure new collection site placements. Maintain detailed records of activity in our CRM system. Participate in bi-weekly sales meetings (in-person or virtual) and communicate regularly with the Market Collection Manager and store teams. Meet or exceed established goals and placement quotas. Develop and follow a structured weekly plan to stay on target and maximize productivity. Work primarily in the Central Florida market—including but not limited to Orlando, Tampa, Daytona, and Jacksonville—with occasional overnight travel as needed. Complete paid onboarding and field training (up to 3 weeks), including ride-alongs and travel to other markets. What You Bring Minimum 2 years of verifiable outside sales experience in a business-to-business environment High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to travel regularly within your assigned market, including occasional overnight stays as needed Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record (MVR check required) Must be at least 21 years of age Comfortable working independently in the field while maintaining consistent communication with the team Proficiency with basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (Zoho preferred) Why Join Us? This isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to be part of something bigger.
