In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business and managing existing customer accounts via phone, email, and CRM tools. You’ll work closely with operations and customer service teams to deliver tailored waste management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively reach out to prospects via phone, email, and online tools to generate new business leads. Qualify incoming leads and convert them into sales opportunities. Prepare quotes, explain service options, and close deals with new and existing customers. Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in the CRM system. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within current accounts. Collaborate with field sales, customer service, and operations teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and service delivery. Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred). 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B, logistics, or waste services. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple accounts. Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus. Basic understanding of waste management industry services is an advantage (training provided).
