VP Sales Position Purpose Summary:
The Sales Representative is responsible for developing new business with potential customers, growing sales within existing customers, providing excellent customer care, and working cohesively in a team environment.
Principal Job Responsibilities:
Make outbound and in person calls to potential and existing customers. Identify, direct the activity, and relationship build with a broker network Take incoming calls from customers and address customer service issues. Prepare sales quotes for spot sales, bid requests and long-term contract purchases. Identify potential customers through referrals, business directories and other resources. Handle general sales and product inquiries on a daily basis. Services accounts, obtains orders, and grows business by adding new items or increasing volume. Working collaboratively with Sales Operations, handle incoming orders form the customer, including coding, pricing, proofreading. Focuses sales efforts by studying, marketplace, customer history, and competition. Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, etc. Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, and new products. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management. Maintains professional and technical knowledge. Provides historical reports by maintaining records of customer sales. Attend trade shows Occasional travel
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
