Job Summary :
The Custom Residential and Commercial Sales Executive is a driven and experienced sales professional, specializing in integrated security solutions for custom residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of smart home and security technologies, with a proven ability to build relationships and close deals in high-end residential and commercial environments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Generate new business, and grow and manage existing accounts in the custom residential and commercial market. Consult with clients to identify their needs and develop tailored smart home and integrated security solutions (including electrical, audio visual, low voltage, automation, surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and environmental control systems). Collaborate with design, engineering, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct site assessments and provide detailed proposals, estimates, and system design recommendations. Lead customer presentations and systems demonstrations using technical knowledge, sales skills, and business acumen to achieve sales targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, builders, interior designers, and property managers. Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings. Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, maintaining accurate CRM records and forecasting pipelines. Work with Field Operations teams to ensure the proper application of system products to meet customer expectations. Use SafeTouch policies and procedures in all project preparation and implementation. Maintain quality assurance by following organizational standards. Promote and maintain a safe work environment. Perform additional duties as required to support business needs.
Requirements:
High School Diploma required, associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred. At least 3 years of sales and account management experience in smart home technology, integrated security, audio visual, or a related industry. Strong understanding of integrated home automation platforms (e.g., Control4) and security technologies (e.g., video surveillance, intrusion detection, access control). Solid computer applications skills with MS Office. Experience with Salesforce is a plus. Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. Manage long sales cycles and complex projects. Self-starter with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. Experience working with high-end residential clients, luxury builders, and commercial developers is preferred. Highly motivated and customer service oriented. Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; capable of managing multiple tasks, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines. Strong at establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with both internal and external customers. Safety first mindset. Pass a drug screen and background check. Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets insurance requirements. Proof of personal vehicle insurance to include automobile liability and property damage coverage. Reliable transportation. Bilingual is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Work both indoors and outdoors. Remain stationary at a desk, standing, and moving from place to place for prolonged periods. Move equipment and materials up to 25 pounds. Observe details at close range. Handle products, take notes, operate technology, and present information. Read documents and presentations using electronic devices and hard copy materials, while interacting with others Exchange accurate information in person, over the phone, in writing, and electronically. Communicate clearly and articulately for presentations and interpersonal interactions. Drive to work, client sites, and as business needs require. Navigate uneven or slippery surfaces or both. Safely ascend and descend stairs as needed. Bend, crouch, and reach to take counts and measurements.
