Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Retail Sales and Design Specialist. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer experiences through expert knowledge in retail sales, interior design, and product styling. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a keen eye for aesthetics, and proficiency in managing retail operations and digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

Provide personalized customer service and product recommendations based on client needs and preferences. Manage retail operations including inventory management, sales transactions, and showroom maintenance. Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences and offer tailored design solutions. Utilize Canva, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital tools to create engaging content and promote products. Assist in visual merchandising and styling of showroom displays to reflect Salt & Creek’s brand aesthetic. Participate in weekend shifts, including private shopping events, markets, and pop-ups as required. Represent Salt & Creek at external events, showcasing our products and engaging with potential customers. Stay updated on industry trends, new product launches, and interior design techniques. Work closely with the team to meet sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the boutique.

Requirements:

Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in a luxury or design-focused environment. Strong understanding of interior design principles and styling techniques. Proficiency in Shopify, Canva, Instagram, TikTok, Google Suite, and Apple products. Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment. Creative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional design solutions.
