Job Summary:
As our first Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will have complete ownership of our top-of-funnel sales strategy. Reporting to and partnering with the Head of Sales, you will be focused on generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting with the ultimate goal of generating revenue. This role is instrumental in the success of Downtowner moving into its next phase of growth. You will make a tangible impact by contributing to Downtowner’s revenue goals and have the opportunity to help shape the Sales Organization’s strategy, process and ethos. We are a small yet mighty team and the ideal candidate will have to be comfortable with and embrace change and ambiguity as we work through the next phase of our growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate a new business pipeline through research and qualifying prospecting activities Build and maintain lead lists within our CRM Gain interest through outbound activities such as cold calling and emails Schedule qualified meetings and Demos for sales team Understand Downtowner’s value proposition and qualify prospects through a consultative approach Achieve and exceed KPI’s for calls, emails, leads, qualified hand-offs and revenue
Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies Business mindset, ability to understand the macro and micro implications of our value proposition Self-starter that has a competitive nature and can thrive with ambiguity Desire to grow a career in Sales 1+ years of experience in customer facing role SDR/BDR experience is a plus Transportation experience is a plus Experience in selling to Resorts, Hotels, Hospitality, Universities and Public sector is a plus
