In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their lumber and building material needs, providing exceptional service, and ensuring a well-organized sales floor. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a background in retail sales, and a passion for helping customers find the right products for their projects. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating lumber and building materials. Provide knowledgeable advice on product selection, features, and benefits. Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately to process transactions. Maintain an organized sales floor by restocking shelves and ensuring product displays are appealing. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Handle customer inquiries via phone with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain high standards of service. Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock checks. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with diverse customers.
