This Role will play a crucial role in representing our premium animal health supplements and grooming products to veterinary professionals and specialty channels in Florida. This position requires a professional with exceptional human skills, proven sales driven experience, results oriented and a deep understanding of companion animal health, nutrition and grooming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with veterinary clinics and grooming professionals throughout Florida.
- Effectively communicate the benefits and features of our portfolio.
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of our product portfolio, including nutritional facts and health benefits for different companion animal species.
- Create compelling sales presentations tailored to the specific needs and preferences of our specialty channel customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by proactively propose strategies to improve our reach, geographic scope, customer acquisition and retention.
- Maintain an organized and active client prospect list.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals established by the company.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed objectives.
- Provide exceptional real time customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Merchandising, stocking, and proper ongoing rotation of product on store shelves and displays, ensuring quality and product rotation.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including client interactions, sales meetings, and order processing.
- Prepare regular sales reports for management.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions to illustrate product features and differentiation.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues in sales, marketing, supply and other departments.
- Share valuable market feedback and insights with the team.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Is a must to have proven experience in sales, preferably within the veterinary companion animal health industry for at least 4 years.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently in the proposed counties and as part of a collaborative team.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
