This position is located at 5400 S US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34982. As an Auto Detailer and Car Washer, you will lead our commitment to exceptional cleaning practices, exceeding standard protocols to ensure the health and safety of everyone. You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals. Responsibilities The Car Sales Automotive Detailer will clean the interior, exterior and refurbish used vehicles to prepare for sale. This employee will exhibit a professional appearance and comply with all uniform and personal protective equipment requirements while adhering to local environmental regulations. Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols Polish, wax and buff exterior of vehicles which might include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks. Vacuum interior, floor, seats, ashtray and trunk Shampoo/Clean carpets, floor mats and upholstery Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors May use detail methods such as wet sand and clay bar Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions Apply engine degreaser application to the engine Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies Exhibit a professional appearance and comply with all uniform requirements Adhere to local environmental regulations Work is performed outside in all types of weather and temperatures and in a typical office environment Additional Responsibilities Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from our company for an employment based work permit or other work authorization document now or in the future Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience
