Technical Sales Representative at Vetamac Vetamac is looking for a driven and customer-focused Technical Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be the face of our anesthesia service and equipment solutions—responsible for prospecting new clients, building long-term relationships, and driving sales across a variety of veterinary practices. You’ll promote preventative maintenance agreements, repair services, and compliance offerings, while delivering exceptional customer support. This is a hands-on, field-based position ideal for a motivated professional who thrives on meeting goals, solving problems, and representing a trusted name in veterinary anesthesia. What to expect in this role : Promote and sell Vetamac’s services, including maintenance plans, repairs, and compliance solutions. Prospect and engage new clients via cold calls, emails, networking, and industry outreach. Identify sales opportunities and develop strategies to convert leads into long-term clients. Research client needs and tailor proposals and presentations accordingly. Act as the main contact for client inquiries, providing timely and professional support. Work closely with the Sales Director to align on goals and maximize sales potential. Follow up on quotes and proposals, address concerns, and close deals. Manage sales activities and client data using CRM software (HubSpot). Represent Vetamac at trade shows and industry events to build relationships and generate leads. Stay current on industry trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities. Maintain a high standard of customer service and uphold the Vetamac brand. Prepare quotes, explain service options, and coordinate scheduling with internal teams. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth service delivery and issue resolution. Track performance and consistently meet or exceed sales targets. What you need to succeed : 1. Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or account management.
  • Background in technical, medical, or veterinary fields is a strong asset.
  • Experience with B2B sales or service-based offerings preferred.

2. Technical Know-How Proficient in CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Comfortable managing a sales pipeline and tracking activities. Able to create and present tailored service proposals. Strong follow-up skills to move leads through the sales funnel. Understanding of basic technical or mechanical concepts is a plus. 3. Sales & Business Skills Proven ability to prospect, qualify leads, and close sales. Skilled in cold calling, email outreach, and virtual communication. Strong business acumen with a results-driven mindset. Able to analyze client needs and recommend relevant services. Comfortable working with KPIs and performance targets. 4.
