Sales Representative Top Rail Fence Daytona and West Volusia Volusia County, FL Sales Representative Job Description About Us Top Rail Fence is a locally owned and operated fence installation company located in DeLand, FL. We specialize in providing Residential, Commercial and Agricultural fence solutions to the greater Volusia County area. We maintain relationships with local and national partners, including home builders, general contractors, and home improvement chains. We’re seeking a motivated Sales Associate to contribute to our fence company’s growth and development. As a Sales Associate, you’ll play a crucial role in promoting and selling our fencing products and services. You’ll engage with customers, provide valuable insights, and help them make informed decisions to meet their fencing needs. Requirements:
1. Previous experience in sales or customer-facing roles, with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales goals. Experience using Salesforce or other CRM software. 2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect with customers and address their needs effectively. 3. Basic understanding of sales techniques and the ability to learn about fencing products and their benefits. We use only the best materials and installation techniques. 4. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, contributing positively to the team’s dynamics. You will work alongside the permitting and operations team to allow for the most seamless permit approval and installation processes for our customers. 5. Adaptability and willingness to learn about new products and industry developments. This industry is ever evolving, we are constantly offering new products and solutions for our customers. 6. Comfortable with using sales tools and software to manage customer interactions and sales processes. You will use multiple software platforms to create quotes on site and provide the customer with all the information they need before you leave an estimate appointment. 7. Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. 8. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales is a plus. Able to pass a background check. 9. Reliable transportation necessary, as you will be covering all of Volusia county. 11. Adaptability and time management. This is not a normal 9-5 job. Some evenings or weekends will be spent squeezing in customers who can’t meet during the week. 13. Construction Industry experience but experience in the fence industry is not a must. As a Sales Associate at our fence company, you’ll be an integral part of our sales efforts, helping customers find the right fencing solutions for their needs. This role will demand learning new sales software, estimate applications and require calling and answering customer emails throughout the day – even after the project is sold.
