The ideal candidate will have a passion for nutrition and for providing exceptional service and will thrive in a fast-paced retail and beverage service environment. As a Retail Beverage Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers while ensuring that our store operates smoothly. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store And preparing customer’s orders. Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor, including restocking shelves and managing inventory levels As well as preparing beverages and a few food items for customers as they order. Keeping store clean before, during and after business day. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately. Demonstrate product knowledge by providing information and conducting product demos to enhance customer understanding. Employee discounts on products to allow for employees to become very familiar and be able to make recommendations to customers. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and increase sales opportunities. Same day Tips are an extra incentive to base salary. Ensure compliance with store policies regarding cash handling and customer service protocols. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization within the store environment. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales, marketing, barista or food/beverage service settings is preferred but not mandatory. Have an understanding of proper nutrition, fitness and healthy product ingredients (carbohydrates, protein, calories, electrolytes, etc.). Strong cash handling skills with experience operating POS systems. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer calls effectively. Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales tracking is advantageous. Ability to perform product demonstrations effectively to engage customers. A self starter, can hold oneself accountable to see what needs to be done and act on it without having to be told A proactive attitude towards upselling products to maximize sales potential. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service. Requires ability to use personal vehicle occasionally to make business deliveries if needed.
