We are looking for a Sales Consultant to join our growing team.

Since 1973, we have maintained our position as a leader in the wholesale distribution industry and offer first-class service to customers in the residential and commercial plumbing industries and home builders, interior designers, remodelers, and homeowners. We operate eight branch locations and seven showrooms throughout Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina.
Function:
As a Sales Consultant, your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service and expertise to clients visiting the showroom. You will assist customers in selecting plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, appliances, tile, and other materials. You are also responsible for offering product recommendations and technical guidance to meet their needs. Additionally, you will strive to meet sales targets, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the showroom.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Welcome and engage with customers visiting the showroom, actively listening to their needs and preferences to provide personalized product recommendations and solutions.
Develop a deep understanding of products available in the showroom, including fixtures, faucets, sinks, toilets, showers, appliances, lighting, and accessories. Stay updated on new products, features, and trends in the industry.
Offer technical guidance and assistance to customers, explaining product features, specifications, and installation requirements. Provide advice on compatibility, functionality, and performance to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
Assist customers with product selection, demonstrating features and benefits, and recommending complementary items to enhance their purchase. Strive to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the achievement of showroom revenue goals.
Prepare accurate price quotations for customers, including itemized lists of selected products, pricing details, and applicable discounts or promotions.
Process customer orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring that all specifications, quantities, and delivery details are correctly documented. Coordinate with warehouse staff and logistics teams to arrange product delivery or pickup.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and following up with customers to ensure satisfaction with their purchases. Build long-term relationships with clients and encourage repeat business and referrals.
Complete administrative duties related to sales transactions, including entering orders into the system, processing payments, generating invoices, and maintaining customer records and databases.
Attending industry events, trade shows, and product training sessions to stay informed about new developments and innovations in the plumbing supply market. Build relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and industry professionals to enhance product knowledge and business connections.
Performs other duties as assigned and uses time wisely.
Position Requirements:
Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the plumbing supply or home improvement industry.
Strong knowledge of plumbing fixtures, equipment, and materials, with the ability to provide technical guidance and product recommendations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Sales-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders, quotations, and other sales-related documents.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the showroom schedule.
