The Role The Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role in driving revenue for the Hotel by managing group room accounts, coordinating VIP media hosting, overseeing large-party restaurant reservations, and supporting small-scale events. As an integral part of the Sales Department, the Sales Coordinator is expected to embody the core values of Midnight Auteur through meticulous attention to detail, efficiency, and genuine care in all aspects of their work. What You Will Do Group Room Sales (Approx. 60% of Role) Serve as the communication hub for group room sales, responding promptly to incoming calls and email Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Prepare professional correspondence, including contracts, banquet event orders, printed menus, and follow-up emails for clients. Manage group room blocks from inception to completion, ensuring accurate inventory balancing, communication of cut-off dates, reservation edits, and audits. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key accounts. Input prospects and leads into the database to ensure effective tracking. Coordinate preparations for site tours and client events, including conducting the tours personally. Collaborate with Front Desk, Front of House, and General Manager teams to distribute Group Room VIP notes and amenities. Event Coordination Act as the communication hub for event sales, responding to calls and email RFPs with professionalism and efficiency. Manage business-on-the-books, working closely with clients to meet and exceed their expectations. Create and distribute detailed planning communications, including group resumes, banquet event orders (BEOs), and room setups. Ensure banquet invoice accuracy, conducting thorough bill reviews after event completion. Handle post-event follow-up, such as sending thank-you notes and monitoring satisfaction surveys. Large-Party Restaurant Reservations Collaborate with the Front of House team to manage and convert large-party reservation leads into formal events with food and beverage minimums and pre-fixe menus when applicable. VIP Media & Influencers Coordinate all Media VIP hosting requirements, ensuring clear communication with the property team. Execute hosting contracts with social media influencers, establishing expectations and providing detailed guidance to the property team. Conduct property tours and orientations to showcase the venue. Front Desk Assistance Participate in cross-training as a Front Desk Agent to provide support during high-demand periods or as needed. Demonstrate the

Desired Career Experiences Minimum of 3 years of experience in the hotel industry, with a background in either Front Desk or Sales departments.
