Full-Time Position Summary:
As a Customer Service / Inside Sales representative you will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. You will be responsible for fielding customer inquiries, resolving customer issues, and processing orders both timely and accurately. Your goal is to provide top-tier customer service for our customers and internally to field Sales personnel, while partnering with the key functional departments such as warehouse operations, finance and accounting, marketing, purchasing and production. The CSR / Inside Sales Representative is a B2B order management role for a global manufacturing company. You are expected to offer customers item substitutions and recommend incremental sales. Please note this is an order management position, not a call center role.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Support:
Serve as the primary contact for assigned PPE accounts (distributors, end-users, retailers), ensuring prompt, proactive service across the full order-to-cash cycle.
Order Management:
Process and monitor orders, ensuring timely fulfillment and accurate invoicing.
Product & Compliance Knowledge:
Understand the technical specifications of PPE products and regulatory requirements (e.g., ANSI, CSA, EN standards) to respond to client inquiries accurately.
Issue Resolution:
Handle claims, product returns, shortages, and compliance issues swiftly and professionally, coordinating with QA, logistics, and product teams.
KPIs:
Meet scorecard logistic goals and RMA (return material authorization) objectives.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in customer service or inside sales Knowledge of product portfolio to be able to offer product substitutions when specific inventory is not available. Product recommendations resulting in incremental sales. Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) Knowledge of EDI transactions Effective communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. Attention to detail and ability to manage orders and customer-specific requirements. Preferred Skills /
Qualifications:
Experience in working with warehouse operations and logistics. Understanding of industry regulations (OSHA, ANSI, CSA, ISO). Bilingual (English/Spanish) Working knowledge of PPE categories is a plus.
