Job Title Inside Sales Representative Department Sales Reports to Director of Sales Position Summary The Inside Sales Representative is a crucial role that is committedto achieving our ambitious customer satisfaction, retention,acquisition, and revenue growth objectives. As an Inside SalesRepresentative, you will be responsible for establishing customerrelationships and representing our company’s brand in a way that ispositive, honest, and professional. This role primarily seeks outnew sales opportunities with existing and new customers and isreliant upon our inbound marketing systems, and CRM to do soaccurately, timely and successfully. Nurturing each opportunity byworking cordially inside a customer’s parameters, coordinatingtheir order delivery dates, providing them support, and processingtheir purchase of a product solution is the daily priority of thisrole. This is a remote position. Essential Functions Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownershipin understanding our product lines and familiarizing yourself witheach product’s function and purpose. You are required toconfidently consult our customers and upsell our customers to themost compatible products. To have success in this role, it requiresan upfront studious commitment to watch, read and learn. Demonstrate a continuously improving comprehension andinterpretation of technical requirements, and customer parameters,and an ability to provide technical information that buildscustomer trust with our company. Listen attentively to customerquestions and provide answers that are knowledgeable and insightfulto encourage product fit and sales. Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders and developingaccounts. Close new accounts by answering telephone, live chat,cold calls, CRM follow-ups, and e-mail inquiries. Accurately entercustomer information into databases as updates are received. Meet or exceed Lead & Deal creation and conversion KPI’s anddemonstrate a positive attitude to continuous performance and workquality improvements. Work with your team members to facilitate calls, manage workflows,and minimize hold times throughout the sales process. Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate channels forfurther development and closure. Maintain an organized workspace and properly file documents,updates, and product information so it is readily accessible forreference and to answer questions. Maintain a special focus on managing company drop ship PO’s byensuring lead times and information are regularly and accuratelyupdated in the CRM, Dashboard or other. Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifyingpotential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport,providing technical information, and explanations, and preparingquotes. Utilize the system, data, and existing knowledge of ourcustomers. Finalize orders to meet customer timelines by issuing them on time,communicating expected delivery dates, and explaining stock-outs.

Manage customer expectations on long lead times. Develop accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggestingrelated and new items, and explaining technical features. Keeplarge value accounts happy. Ensure 24 hour response time from initial contact for all new leadsand aim to remarkably beat this goal daily. Maintain and improve quality results by following company standardsand recommending improved policy and procedures to management. Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions andparticipating in educational opportunities whenever necessary. Work closely with customer service and related departments toensure customer issues are effectively and promptly resolved forall customers who purchased from you, and who’s accounts areassigned to you. Participate in weekly meetings to discuss benchmarks and personalor team goals for the upcoming week. Report your performanceoutlook honestly and demonstrate professional accountability.
