Remote Job Description Danfoss in the U.S. is seeking a person who can combine technical skills with the ability to support customers and account managers in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. The team’s role is to increase the sale of sensor products in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico in the HVAC/R, off-highway vehicle, and water markets. You will interact directly with designated customers and account managers and report to the North America Sales Director. In this role, you will support assigned accounts and account managers to increase sales revenue and opportunities relevant to sensor products. Responsible for identifying sensor products, quoting products, and forwarding sales leads. Additionally, the Inside Sales Representative will provide a key support role to the department by assisting with forecasting, sales reporting, and internal sales processes. The role is remote within the U.S Job Responsibilities Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Respond to calls/emails regarding customer needs and effectively follow up in a timely manner
- Collect and provide customer sales and demand forecasts for business planning.
- Keep a backlog of distributors and business opportunities in Salesforce.
- Coordinate sales and support activities with application engineers as needed.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of company products, special projects, and marketing efforts within the business area
- Support the sales regions by developing quotations in response to customer requests, tracking and following up on customer leads, and sales quota / revenue generation goals
- Communicate customer price increases for assigned accounts and ensure customers are setup correctly in Store.

- Pursuing business opportunities with direct wholesaler and OEM customers through a variety of strategic prospecting and account development activities
- Overseeing customer identification, setup, pricing, onboarding, and training.
- Ensuring that distributors are aware of new product releases and promotions through frequent communications. Background & Skills Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 commensurate experience required (engineering or business degree preferred)
- 1-3 years’ experience in B-to-B/OEM sales, sales support, customer service, or application engineering
- Experience dealing with technical products
- Hands-on CRM process experience
- Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods, and techniques
- A working knowledge of MS Office/internet; SAP background a plus
- Self-starter with a strong ability to “move” projects to secure progress
- Ability to see the value of contributing and developing results in a strong team
- Exceptional communication skills
- Self-motivated, energetic, well organized
- Experience of practical marketing/sales support execution in a sales company
- Limited domestic travel
