RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides input and direction for creating strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals. Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly. Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates. Advises dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques. Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales. Represents company at trade association meetings to promote products. Delivers sales presentations to clients and prospects. Meets with clients and prospects, to maintain or develop relationships, negotiating and order booking. Coordinates liaison to Sales Coordinator, manufacturing facilities, HQ, and other sales related units. Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. Provides input and direction for product research and development consideration. Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition. Performs any other duties assigned Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Should have knowledge of Internet Software; Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook / G Suite); Design Software (Photoshop/Illustrator); Order Processing Systems; Project Management Software; Word Processing Software (Word); Presentation Software (PowerPoint)); CRM Software (Salesforce); Proprietary Software.
