This exciting rotational, leadership trainingprogram is available in multiple locations including CT, MA, NH,RI, NY, NJ, MD, DE, PA, VA, GA and will include assignments thatwill vary throughout our regional branches and central distributioncenters.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Sales and Branch Management /Leadership Trainee, you’ll complete an intensive, hands-on, 18-24month leadership development program that consists of up to sevendistinct phases: Warehouse, Counter Sales, Inside Sales, ProjectManagement, Outside Sales, Back Office and Branch Operations.
During the first 12 months, the program has a shared curriculum ona variety of prerequisite subjects. At the 12-month mark, you’llwork with your manager to determine your preferred course of studyand then specialize in preparing for either a sales or managementcareer. During this “hands-on” training program, you’ll beresponsible for additional hours of on-line training. Topicscovered include electrical distributor operations, electricity,electrical products, customer service, communications, ethics,finance, leadership and personal development. You’ll also receivetraining on our ERP system and on-site manufacturing factorytraining. Throughout the training program, and even after a salesterritory or branch management position is assigned, you’ll bementored by one or more of our industry professionals. Theseexperienced employees are a great source of support, industryknowledge and business insights. During training your mentor willwork with you to establish training tasks and goals. These will bedesigned to help you master new skills and knowledge and we’lltrack your achievements throughout the program.
