Atlas Molded Products is seeking an Industrial Territory Sales Representative for Salt Lake City, Utah. The preferred candidate needs to reside in the vicinity of Salt Lake City, Utah (thirty minutes or miles) with Denver, CO as part of the covered territory. Industrial Territory Sales Representative Primary Responsibilities Identify sales targets among Distributors, OEM’s and other industrial customers who make purchasing decisions. Promote Atlas EPS solutions for industrial and packaging applications and DuraTherm Insulated Shiping Solutions to a broad spectrum of customers in multiple industries. Aid in developing a strategic sales plan for the territory to prioritize opportunities, deliver information on Atlas products and close sales leads. Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to pursue leads and provide feedback on job status. Communicate effectively with Regional Sales Manager in local geography. Develop, maintain, and communicate an up-to-date tracking system of projects including status through close of job. Conduct training sessions for customers regarding product knowledge and services. Understand competitive product set and adeptly communicate Atlas product placement and advantages. Assess the competitive offering, pricing levels, new product potential, and market trends and offer feedback on each. Prepare annual sales plans for the sales territory. Advise on programs and incentives that would aid in business development. Automobile and airline overnight travel required. Participate in Trade Shows and Industry Events. Represent Atlas Molded Products at industry events to promote brand awareness, establish new connections, and stay informed of industry developments. Industrial Territory Sales Representative Experience Four (4) years’ minimum experience in the packaging, insulation, or other industrial manufacturing segment. Outside sales and/or customer support experience as a distributor or manufacturer’s representative is required. Industrial Territory Sales Representative Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Relationship Building. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across functional organizations. Increase sales and profit margin by managing existing customers while developing and broadening relationships with Distributors, OEMs, and purchasing decision makers. Customer Service. Services both internal and external customers, provides superior service and value to all customers, takes responsibility to resolve customer issues, and responds to customer requests in a timely manner. Effective verbal and presentation skills. Takes responsibility to resolve customer issues and communicate as needed with others involved; responds to customer requests in a timely manner. Analyzes cost, benefits, and risk of a decision and analyzes chances for success of decision. Influences others in a positive manner and promotes a climate of involvement, cooperation, and teamwork.
