We are now seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Packaging & Hygiene Solutions (P&HS) team in the Americas’ region. This role supports the application and sales of all chemistries used in paper manufacturing industries as Kemira is an industry leader in assisting our customers, at their locations, in identifying and applying the most effective chemical applications used in all stages of the paper manufacturing process. This is a remote position located in our North Region supporting customers in the Syracuse, NY, area. In this role, your responsibilities will include: Serving as Account manager at $13+MM account where Kemira is a key specialty chemical supplier with considerable upside for growth.
Potential for 1-2 additional accounts as sales territory continues to develop.
Working with customers on long term active projects to generate ROI.
Sales planning for growth and profitability.
Managing the team of sales, service, and application experts to provide innovative ideas for better papermaking.
Implementing new equipment and digital solutions. What you will bring to the team: Bachelor’s degree level and/or equivalent field experience in paper science, chemistry, biology, microbiology, or chemical engineering with a least 5 years’ experience in the paper industry
Experience in Account management, packaging and board applications (preferred), statistical analysis, paper making operations, retention, sizing, strength, cleaning, defoamers, microbiological and other general wet-end applications Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

The starting salary range for consideration for this position is $105,000 to $125,000 per year with opportunities for performance-based bonuses. The actual starting salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant employment history & experience, skill set/competencies, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs.
