drive, logistics, events, marketing, retail store and customer experience. The Sales & Special Events Coordinator supports the Sales & Special Events Manager and the greater PECATL Team in the sales, delivery and management of B2B business and special events. This position will sell, plan and lead client events, which may include driving courses, dining, conference room facilities, the simulator lab, as well as support the overall B2B and B2C integrated marketing strategy of the PEC. This role is a direct liaison with other organizational groups at the PEC such as the Drive Team, Catering, Facility, Simulator Lab and Retail Store. How You’ll Contribute… Respond to customer inquiries, confirming availability and providing information to customers requesting to book group events including drive, meeting space rentals and other activities onsite. Manage accurate data and calendar input of events through the Porsche Experience Center Atlanta booking system. Provide event proposals and contracts for all group event customers. Provide the proper introduction to ancillary services including catering, restaurant, and retail store and perform follow-up communication to ensure customer satisfaction as needed. Liaise between the customer and Porsche Experience Center Atlanta departments to ensure events are executed within Porsche Experience Center Atlanta standards. Collaborate and Partner closely with F&B sales and Operations teams. Communicate contract deliverables to the various Porsche Experience Center Atlanta departments. Communicate deadlines, receive, and record payments for group events in accordance with contract. Communicate and inspect event deliverables including activities, set-up of meeting rooms and special event spaces for accuracy based on customers’ expectations. Supervise the preparation and implementation of specific events, coordinating with third-party event team vendors, suppliers, as needed. Event point of contact from planning phase through event hand off to onsite operations teams. Reports on Porsche Experience Center Atlanta Key Performance Indicators for B2B Sales, using these metrics as a guide for success for the position. Solicit customer feedback via survey and email verbatim to share with the Porsche management team. Provide event training to new team members as needed. What We’re Looking For…

Education and Experience:

Post-Secondary education in business administration preferred. 2+ years events planning experience; experiential event planning a plus Porsche history, Porsche and automotive industry knowledge/experience a plus Fixed venue marketing experience a plus

Skills/Competencies:

A keen attention to detail Ability to delegate tasks and follow-up as needed. Knowledge of event set ups and standard event protocol. Ability to manage multiple tasks and activities, prioritizing when necessary. Friendly, clear, and concise written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of the information accessed. Willingness to learn and adhere to Porsche Brand Standards. Ability to solve advanced problems and trouble-shoot complex issues. Proactive and able to begin work with minimal assistance. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Looks beyond the surface level to create pathways to solutions for challenging situations. Understands and values the time of others. Other Requirements… Position is required to be in office minimum 80% of working time. Saturday or Sunday attendance for events as required.
