out of 5 stars 3910 Lakefield Drive, Suwanee, GA 30024 Outside Sales Representative – Suwanee, GA Athena Farms We are an independent, leading foodservice distributor, primarily focused on produce, looking for a full-time Outside Sales Representative will be based in the Suwanee, Johns Creek and Lawrenceville area. Prior sales experience is not required. However, foodservice background and/or restaurant experience is a must. We are in search of someone who is looking for an opportunity for career growth and is excited about how they can contribute to the growth of our company and who strives to make things better without being asked. The idea candidate will have prior foodservice background and/or restaurant experience as a kitchen manager, restaurant manager, or chef. Is results oriented, highly organized with strong attention to detail, has strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once. This position is primarily responsible for achieving foodservice sales goals within the assigned territory. The candidate will promote the company’s product and services for building relationships with new and existing accounts.
Responsibilities:
Cold-calling prospects Pricing and order guide building Developing and maintaining new accounts Weekly visits to manage existing customer base Travel will include daily visits to customer accounts, company sales meetings and customer events using personal vehicle Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary Light administration work Maintain a great working relationship with customer service and operational teams
Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s license and reliable mode of transportation for traveling to customers. This position may require working non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) to successfully meet customer’s needs. Proficient negotiation, closing, persuasive communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) Strong problem solving and analytical skills Passion for food service and a customer-centric mindset.
