Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a Sales Consultant – New construction at Davis Window and Door in Norcross, GA. The Sales Consultantt is responsible for accurately assessing customer needs, providing comprehensive product recommendations, and generating detailed cost estimates for window and door projects. This role requires a strong understanding of the company’s product line, construction industry standards, and estimating software.

Key Responsibilities Customer Interaction:

Conducts showroom consultations with customers to determine project scope, specifications, and preferences. Builds strong customer relationships through excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Provides expert advice on product selection, energy efficiency, and design options.

Estimating:

Accurately measures and assesses project requirements to develop detailed material and labor estimates. Utilizes estimating software to generate accurate and competitive bids. Reviews blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to ensure comprehensive estimates.

Product Knowledge:

Maintains in-depth knowledge of the company’s product line, including features, benefits, and pricing. Stays informed about industry trends, new products, and technological advancements.

Administrative Tasks:

Maintains organized records of customer information, project details, and estimates. Prepares and submits required paperwork and reports. Qualifications Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on windows and doors. Strong understanding of residential construction processes and materials. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Proficiency in estimating software and computer applications.. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
