Sr Sales Operations Professional Position Overview Reporting to the SI S&OP Head of Sales Excellence, this role provides strategic and operational sales support by partnering closely with sales leadership and business teams to align priorities and ensure effective execution. Act as an internal consultant to identify and resolve sales process and system challenges, collaborating across functions to improve sales efficiency and productivity. This role is critical in driving sales growth and business performance by refining sales processes, mentoring teams, and fostering alignment across departments to support overall sales effectiveness. Role Description Drives key sales initiatives, ensuring deliverables meet or exceed internal expectations, are professionally executed, and are completed on schedule. Applies deep understanding of the sales lifecycle and customer buying behaviors to identify continuous improvement opportunities across processes, tools, and systems, aiming to boost hit rates and overall productivity. Designs and implements sales strategies aligned with broader business objectives and market demands. Leads the adoption of new or enhanced sales processes, tools, and technologies to better support sales team performance. Monitors and analyzes sales metrics and KPIs, especially within Salesforce, to identify trends, improve data quality, and drive actionable insights for enhanced sales execution. Serves as a key liaison for cross-BU initiatives, ensuring new systems and processes align with sales strategies. Works with the CPQ team on prioritization, user story development, and interface improvements-particularly for indirect partner creation and project-related case tracking. Partners with other Sales Excellence teams to implement best practices across Salesforce, sales processes, training, and technology. Oversees the implementation and effective use of CRM and other sales technologies to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy. Manages the adoption and training for lead management platforms such as Dodge. Leads cross-functional project teams in a matrix environment, ensuring timely delivery and focus on business results. Provides guidance, training, and mentorship to junior sales team members, focusing on sales best practices, techniques, and process enhancements.
