The Outside Sales Representative will sell products and servicesoffered by the company to current and new clientele. The OutsideSales Representative is responsible for increasing sales bydeveloping and maintaining relationships with customers andclients. Duties may include identifying prospective customers,following up on potential sales leads and maintaining relationshipswith existing customers. Outside Sales Representatives may alsorecommend marketing strategies designed for a target market.

  • EST Experience Required
  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Survey existing and new Fire Alarm Projects that utilize EST”Edwards” System.
  • Provide timely and Accurate quotes based on the Customer’s needsand the System’s capabilities.
  • Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identifynew sales leads.
  • Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understandtheir product or service needs; identifies and suggests productsand services to meet those needs.
  • Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services tocustomers based on their needs.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication andrelationship management; resolves any issues that may arisepost-sale.
  • Maintains communication with existing and previous customers,alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that maybe of interest.
  • Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls,orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendorrelationship problems.
  • Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.
  • Education/Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales or Business(preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of EST Experience
  • At least five years of related experience required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressfulenvironment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Other Duties:
  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, andCompany Safety Policy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on acomputer.
