Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting the sales and order fulfilment activity by providing a seamless customer experience

Essential Functions:

Perform all essential duties and execute sales plans assigned by Branch General Manager, to achieve revenue and profit goals for assigned customers Build and maintain productive customer relationships to quickly and effectively solve customer problems Accurately process customer orders and make outbound calls to customers to fill trucks Partner and support outside sales team to provide seamless, loyalty building customer service Actively probe to uncover customer needs and offers appropriate product recommendations Stay current on issues affecting our business, industry, and the global product supply chain Ability to provide product knowledge across a broad range of product categories

Requirements:

Proven track record and knowledge of sales and customer service in wholesale distribution (preferred), minimum of 2 years of experience Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal coworkers and customers Associates degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written Strong problem solving, negotiation and sales skills Results-driven and goal-oriented Highly organized with strong attention to detail Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment Commitment to providing outstanding customer service Problem solver, able to quickly solve issues, and offer improvement ideas Manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point) Regular and punctual attendance and ability to work weekends and holidays when necessary Valid Driver’s License & acceptable driving record Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, crouch, kneel, and push and pull Requires ordinary conversation, hearing, and visual acuity
