This position builds relationshipswith existing and prospective customers, solidifies and expands thecustomer base, and maximizes sales across the entire product line.

This sales position requires sales experience in the constructionindustry. Metal Components experience a Plus. This position reportsdirectly to the Regional Sales Manager. Hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm M-FResponsibilities Maintains and services current customers throughpersonal calls, phone calls, and correspondence. Identifies,locates, and calls on potential customers in assigned territory.

Establishes pricing for territory within given guidelines andquotes materials to customers. Helps resolve damaged materialclaims and other customer problems. Effectively communicatesbetween customers, manufacturing, and customer service at McElroy.

Learns all customers, competitors, and trends in the marketplace.

Assists customers with field problems, new product applications andeducates customers concerning our materials. Gives trainingsessions and presentations to architects, designers, and othercustomers to demonstrate McElroy products. Works daily in HubSpotand keeps contacts and deals up to date. Collaborates on andsupports growth efforts of Service Center 18. Experience/SkillsStrong basic math skills. Excellent interpersonal and communicationskills. Residence within the geography of the territory. Two years’experience in the metal components or building industry. Or relatedconstruction experience. Other Requirements Current Driver’sLicense. (A motor vehicle report (MVR) will be run to assure thesuccessful candidate can service the assigned territory.) McElroyMetal will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history.
