Roles and Responsibilities:

Suggest Insurance Advice and Solutions to Advisor and clients/prospects Process insurance new business Meet with Home Office specialist to review insurance products appropriate for client needs Present insurance products to advisors and prepare for insurance delivery and sale Guide clients through application completion, as well as remain proactive and responsive to any questions throughout the process Make proactive outbound sales calls Use a suite of online tools to create presentations that support recommendations Maintain professional licenses to comply with state and federal regulations and licensing requirements Effectively track activities and identify opportunities to grow the business Effectively monitors and communicates insurance premium changes, insurance applications and underwriting and addresses any additional requirements Review dated policies to identify new opportunities based on client profiles Schedule and lead meetings independently Develop and schedule comprehensive reviews of all client coverage to include an insured client policy comprehensive protection review process and make recommendations and adjustments as needed on an annual basis. Complies with books and records Be able to work with PracticeSource or internal Comprehensive Planning team to design solutions for complex investor situations and Estate Plans. Review Allocation in current policies to keep suitability in alignment Be able to look outside of RiverSource for best fit on individual policies Be able to develop relationships and communicate with underwriting to make sure their understanding of client needs leads to best outcomes. Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related field
  • 10 years relevant experience
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Ability to use Teams and other virtual meeting platforms
