Negotiation Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Fleet Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with business, government, and commercial clients to sell vehicles in volume. This role requires a strategic, customer-focused professional who can meet sales targets, grow accounts, and ensure a seamless and high-touch client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop new business through prospecting and networking with local businesses, government agencies, and corporate fleets Maintain relationships with existing fleet accounts to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction Prepare and present vehicle purchase proposals tailored to fleet customer needs Understand fleet pricing, incentives, and manufacturer programs Coordinate with internal departments (finance, service, logistics) to manage vehicle ordering, upfitting, and delivery Ensure all required documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory standards Track and report sales activity and pipeline using CRM software Attend industry events, expos, and meetings to generate leads and promote dealership presence Maintain current knowledge of vehicle models, features, and industry trends Meet or exceed monthly and annual fleet sales goals
Qualifications:
Proven success in automotive, B2B, or fleet sales (2+ years preferred) Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Strong knowledge of vehicle specs, fleet financing, and business lease options Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills Proficiency in CRM and dealership management software
Working Conditions:
On-site and off-site business visits required May involve occasional evenings or weekends for client meetings or events Requires local travel for client development and vehicle deliveries
Compensation:
18% Commission front and back
