The inside sales representative will be responsible for developing and working leads, following up on existing leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You should be able to close sales and meet targets. To be successful as an inside sales representative you should be able to build instant connections and achieve customer satisfaction. A top inside sales representative should also be very competitive and a good listener.
Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities:
Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads. Understanding customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities. Understanding of our service offerings and able to place the right services to meet the customer’s needs. Answering potential customers’ questions and providing additional information as needed. Keeping up with product and service information and updates. Inputting and maintaining a database of current and potential customers. Explaining and demonstrating benefits of products and services. Staying informed about competing products and services. Upselling/Cross-selling products and services. Researching and qualifying new leads. Closing sales and achieving sales targets. Inside Sales Representative Requirements:
Minimum 2 years previous sales experience (inside/outside sales) Proven track record and able to provide successful sales history upon request Proficiency with CRM software. High proficiency in Administrative skills such as typing, word processing, spreadsheet data entry, database management etc… strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask. Quick learner, critical thinker, who is driven to succeed Excellent phone skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to achieve targets/goals. High school diploma/GED.
