We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to join our team at dki Office Furniture & Supplies , a family-owned business serving the Louisiana and Greater Jefferson Parish area for over 60 years. In this role, you will be responsible for growing new business and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients in the commercial furniture and office supply sectors. The ideal candidate has strong B2B sales experience, is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enjoys meeting face-to-face with clients to deliver customized solutions that fit their workspace needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory. Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers. Conduct on-site visits to assess customer needs and recommend furniture and supply solutions. Prepare quotes, product proposals, and presentations tailored to client specifications. Work closely with our inside sales, design, and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics. Stay up to date on product lines, pricing, and industry trends. Attend networking events, trade shows, and community outreach activities to promote brand visibility.
Qualifications:
3+ years of B2B outside sales experience (commercial furniture, office supplies, or similar industries preferred). Proven track record of building customer relationships and meeting sales goals. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Self-starter with strong time-management and organizational skills. Proficiency with CRM software, email communication, and basic Microsoft Office tools. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required.
Preferred but not required:
Prior Experience in Commercial Office Furniture and Supply Sales Experience working with purchasing agents, facility managers, or interior designers.
