Our client, a well-established appliance manufacturer based inTaunton, MA, is looking for an experienced Accounting & SalesSupport specialist. This is a temp role, and the successfulcandidate will be immediately available to start a new role. ClientDetails Major freezer, fridge & cooler manufacturer based inTaunton, MA. This role is 5 days per week in office, and offerssomeone with 1 year of experience in accounting/sales, a chance towork with a collaborative and close-knit team for an establishedcompany in South MA.
Description This role will involve:
1.
Financial Accounting:
- Maintain accurate financial records usingQuickBooks, including data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports formanagement.
2.
Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team toprepare and type up proposals for potential clients.
- Log andmaintain proposals in company quoting system
- Assist in thecreation and maintenance of sales and customer databases usingMicrosoft Access.
3.
Billing and Invoicing:
- Manage the billingand invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate submission toclients.
- Handle any billing inquiries and resolve discrepanciesin a professional and efficient manner.
- Oversee billing for AIAforms and contracts 4.
Administrative Support:
- Answer phones anddirect calls to the appropriate team members.
- Assist in generaladministrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and documentmanagement.
5.
Financial Documentation:
- Maintain organizedrecords of financial transactions and documentation for audit andcompliance purposes.
- Ensure adherence to company accountingpolicies and procedures.
Profile The successful candidate willhave:
- High School Diploma required.
- Quickbooks and MicrosoftAccess experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail andaccuracy in financial data entry.
- Proficient in Microsoft OfficeSuite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills.
- Strong organizational and time managementskills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Knowledge of AIA contracts is a plus.
- Prior experience in asimilar role is a plus.
